CHorus problems in Limerick?

Anyone got any info (inside or otherwise) on what in the name of all that's holy is up with Chorus in Limerick (cable) recently?

Not gone digital as I don't feel like paying extra for Paramount (as well as choosing between it and VH1)

Channels "pausing" at will for no real reason (as in the same picture from Paramount or Nick frozen on the screen for hours on end), the odd channel going black every once in a while (never rte ior tv3 either, worse luck)

I am by nature a channel-flicker, which is probably why I notice it quite a lot.

Any ideas?

I noticed it . its terrible but in the last week i also noticed they have unscrambled The Box, The history channel, Trouble,which is great.hopefully for good. but now for some reason i noticed granada men and motors has been replaced by the biography channel. i hope that changes.
I also thought Bravo followed trouble, but the channel is just blank after troouble.
How can they expect me to change over to digital with all these channels on analogue

Ok thats strange i dont have any of those channles you talk of with chorus in limerick and i am with them, and i also dont have a set top box thingy i just have a thing that goes from the wall straigh into the back of my tv is that right???

and the ****ing recption is a joke..

Arden they were on the channel lineup for the extra £5 a month
now some of those have been unscrambled. Try and tune them in . You shouldn't have a problem.

Nooo Paramount is scrambled
What is going on
I cant believe they scrambled it but for some reason it is unscrambled through the decoder very weird but now i only have it in one room. Also VH1 has just been unscrambled. Not sure if its just through the decoder or what.
And we are back to the way we were with History Biography the Box trouble all are scrambled again.
some ejits mustr have been rionging up Chorus asking how to tune in the channels that were unscrambled last week and they kopt it
Now they have ****ed it all up

weighed all the options and finally made the leap to sky

chorus pro:

i already have it (weak at best)
i can order the ppv movies for free (guess cause my phone aint plugged in)
have it running in the bedroom and living room seperately

sky pro:
way way way way more channels for less money
better signal
from what ive heard more professional service

37.50 to install
53/month for first month (then i can reduce to chepest package after, works out less then the 20 channels off chorus)

why didnt i do it sooner?

carefull m8.....thought i could get ppv 4 free
off sky digital as well as there was
no telephone line connected......that was until
i got a message of credit limit reached!!!
apparently a telephone line does'nt need 2 b
connected and sky can send a signal through the
sattelite.

It looks like he was talking about his Chorus box not being plugged into the phone.

As for Sky your subscription card has a credit limit which allows you to purchase PPV events. If your digibox is plugged into the phone line, periodically it will phone home and tell Sky all the PPV amounts. If the phone line is not connected to the digibox and the credit limit you have to ring Sky to order any mor PPV events but they will not know that your card is full unless you tell them.
