Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

games to cartoons

    Just got this from writing about the tick...


    Games make terrible films (shudders at street fighter)

    But i remember some great games to cartoons. Super Mario world/brothers (Brothers had the live action as well as animated. World was very take the p*ss) The second sonic series was very good me thinx. (Still a popular comic series) Earthworm Jim of course.

    Of course a few ****tie ones too. Mortal Kombat (stike 3 get it off) 1st sonic series (taking the p*ss too much) and Pokemon........which really doesnt count dont know which came 1st.





    Of course cartoons to games do crappy. Shudders at Gargoyles, james bond jr and the 99 terrible teenage mutant hero turtle games (and 1 good one.)

    (pokemon red/blue on gb came first)
    (loads of kids got epileptic sezures in japan watching one episode where flashing lights in one explosion had the correct frequency to trigger something in the brain in a big group of children)

    Well the sreet fighter anime cartoon are deadly. I've only seen a few of them but they are pretty cool!! Is there a mortal kombat anime cartoon?

    there aint a MK anime but there is a crappy cartoon seires (now on fox kids) based on the films/third MK game...


    Its very badly made....poor fight scenes and terrible stories....

    I suppose Sam and Max existed on comic before the game, but I believe they went to cartoon after the game :)

    I'm just waiting on the Monkey Island cartoons, wouldn't that be bizzare.

    Actualy, I think Sam & Max was a game first(not completly sure, but the tm is owned by lucasarts).
    I think it's good when games are turned into cartoons. There's afinal fantasy anime as well, but I haven't seen it(it's meant to be good). and those ones you meantioned dod ick ass.
