Chorus Digital Contract

Have Sky in the house already but last December I got in Chorus Digital in one of the bedrooms for a lodger. Now the lodger is moving out I want to get rid of it. Will Chorus hold me to the 12 month minimum that is stated on the contract or should I complain about reception and give them the one months notice?
