    it usually helps if you tell what OS you are usig.
    if you are using win2k, the backup feature can backup the registry and you can copy it onto another system

    What daveirl said. Highlight the string(s) you want to copy and choose Registry--Export registry file. Tick the box that says just this branch and select a destination.

    Reverse the process for importing it.
