EMPIRE gig TBMC

After finding the Empire album in Tower Records i found out that they were playing at The TBMC with Deputy Fuzz supporting, what a great Gig the album seems alot better now since i've experienced the live show Does anybody have more info on the band ?

I was at that Ten Speed Racer gig where Empire and Deputy Fuzz played support. I thought Empire were kind of monotonous to be honest... it was two guys, one on guitar and one on drums, playing along to dance loops over the P.A. Maybe it works better on the record but the songs were pretty repetetive to my ears and they could have done with some additional touches to make their 'live' show look a bit more live, possibly a real bass player or someone on decks playing the drum loops. The whole thing had kind of a pre-programmed feel...
