    Actually we could give ya some advice alright. I'm not in college in Galway, but I'm from Galway, and have been for the last 22 years. ;)

    Dunaras AFAIK has broadband net access, so make sure you take advantage of that. You would be mad to pay for such luxury student accomodation and not to take advantage of it. I am guessing that you are going to NUIG. You will love the campus. Most of my friends go there (Syxpak does), and I may be doing a MSc. there next September.

    What course are you planning on doing?. Also can I guess that you deffered for a year, or else you're just a very optimistic student doing thier LC.

    Anyway, no doubt, you will love it. Galway is a great place, and there's plenty to do, people to meet. No doubt you will be attending some of the boards.ie drinking sessions, held quite regularly in Galway. Check out some of the past threads on peoples opinion's/reviews of pubs/clubs in Galway. I'm very busy could someone post the link to that thread, for our new student! :)

    Thanks for your help.Yeah i did defer in order to save up sum money didnt really go to plan though!Did visit Galway couple of times seems class place lukin 4ward to it for definate
