    Any idea on the pricing?

And are they backwards compatible with all the old amiga titles?

lads - I've read a bit on this before - but i'm pleased to see this.
AFAIKThat isn't an actual machine you can buy off the shelf.
    it's a recomended spec.
That is 'classic' amiga OS afaik, and there's also another.
    AmigaDE (digital Environment)
It's going to have a Unix-esque core afaik and is multiplatform.
It's been about a month and a half since I've read up on it, so I'm saying that is true or not, just waht i remember :)
There are addin boards available that will plug into the A1200 and A4000 (don't think there's one for A3000 - but it might work anyways). You can also use the ordinary A1200 hardware to boot into Classic OS too, should you need to, but the new stuff won't be recognised afaik.
Again, I'm not sure, and AmigaOS 5.x might just be AmigaDE.
    Will be interesting :)

    That's actually really cool.

I was under the impression that Gateway had bought Commodore and the rights to Amiga also, but this is simply an impression.

If someone has an A500 Hard drive I will swap for perhaps money, software or hardware.
