Failsafe.drv

Can some one tell me what the file failsafe.drv(think thats the name of it) is/does.It has suddenly appeared in my C drive when it was never there before.This has only happened since a CPU upgrade.There seem to be a config.sys file and an autoexec.bat file in the folder. Dont know if it some sort of backup which helps out…

Dont know if it some sort of backup which helps out after a failed post.

Ah well then I wouldnt be able to annoy people with my stupid questions.How do i delete this folder by the way.Right click-delete I presume.

Like it says on the site

You can remove it, particularly if you don’t intend to use DriveSpace to compress your disk.

If you're not sure I guess you could rename the folder and see if anything weird happens, then delete it.
