    i think Kerbdogs first album is the best major record release by any irish band.brawl's thalidimide the best indie one.let the arguement commence.i fondly await pornaster answer to this one.

    I personally prefered Fitzcarraldo also by the frames meself
    Turn-Antisocial was quite good too.

    Kerbdogs 'On the Turn' and Therapys 'Troublegum' are the best two irish metal albums.....or as close as the country could get to metal!!!!! Its a shame that Kerbdog died a death, but if anyone has heard the new single by Wilt called 'Take me home', they would agree that cormac battle is the metal king of ireland!!!!!

    the best Live metal band would have to be Tooth although i think they split..the best band i have ever seen live.
    the best metal cd/demo/ep thingie i have heard is as Above,So Below by Diphtheria

    I don't know if anyone heard of -DC+ before they broke up, but they were pretty damn good. There's a band around somewhere called x-constant who are pretty good too, but I haven't heard them live. The live Irish metal scene isn't one I frequent too much.

    I've seen x-constant live and they're pretty kickass. Corrupted, Tilted and atomic drop are more good Irish metal bands.

    cormac battle is an arse, no doubt about it. i hate the second album as well but i do think the first one is pretty class.anyone here heard of half mast? they are pretty **** hot hardcore band from cork playing gigs ALMOST NATIONWIDE!!!!!!!!!!!
