    A little bit of room has openned up again on the server.

    So I'm taking suggestions for a new game server or the upping of the count on the DOD one. Suggestions as before.

    I'm currently thinking of a Tribes2 server.

    As always no CS rubbish.

    I'll start a poll on saturday afternoon.

    be the first Irish server to have Quake 3 Fortress Beta2?

    from my inside sources (m8 is developer) the mod should be released either this weekend or pretty damn soon afterwards. I got sneaky peaky at it over in England during Christmas and it looks pretty damn sweet. Once again team fortress will be played on what it is meant to be played on, the quake engiene.

    have a think about it cos the mod could really catch on big time...

    they're just ones that *sounded* interesting, i've only played goldeneye, havent played the other two.

    Tribes 1 (Definately not 2)

    It's about the only game I'd like to see a proper irish server of, as it's about the only game I can actually manage to play on 56k. :tired:

    For 56k friendlyness pick tribes

    Oh god, not MoH. I really hope whoever voted for that hasn't actually played it multiplayer, or is taking the mick, because it's bloody awful online... (The singleplayer is still godly though.)

    Kyro: i just put up a kaillera server, i dont have a clue what it does but it didn't look very memory hungry so i thought 'why not' :-)

    ok, i know i was pimping Q3f earlier and all, but in the end i didn't vote for it.

    basically because i can't play it atm and its usually gay with ping of over 100. i voted for goldeneye because i have the mod installed, ive played it a bit and found it ok. its poo, buts it all i have really and that i prefer out of selection

    Also I distinctly remember playing tribes 2 a number of times on the netshop pc's which were athlon 700's with tnt2 cards.

    Currently theres only 1 server thats hosting golden eye.. wow, its also out of date, was playing on baz's line there, its quite a good game!

    Ah yes, unlike if it had been a Jedi Knight 2 server - in which case it would have served the useful role of proving to everyone that yes, the netcode does suck, and hey, the game itself sucks online - allowing them to get on with their lives confident in the knowledge that they have tried JK2 online and will never again wish to go back to it.

    Out of all the mods which was available Goldeneye was picked and in my opinion the server has gone to waste.
    If you dont like jk2 then you can go off & stroke your bishop , I have goldeneye installed and it is a good game but I dont see the server lasting with Goldeneye installed

    I'll check out the kaillera server when I go home..you have to set it to specific games, mind.
