Industrial recycling

Does anyone know of anywhere in Ireland, preferably in the south east who recycle scrap aluminium and glass? My father has mounds of aluminium cut offs, surely they could be melted down and put to good use. He also has mounds of old windows, i know you can recycle glass bottles almost anywhere but how about panes of glass?…

Try Cummins metals in Dublin.....they pick stuff up and are reasonable on collection charges, they might even pay for the stuff depending on the grade of the material
