i have vDSL and i am just wondering what all you aDSL ppl are gettin with their connection. :what latency do you get playing on-line games? - i mostly get 80 - 110. :what rate can u d/l songs etc at? - usually 1 song at 40kbps and a few altogether around 60kbps. my latency esp. in CS is pisn me off... i was expecting about…

my latency esp. in CS is pisn me off... i was expecting about 20-30, but get on good days 80-110:(. ISDN usually get about 60, and DSL is much faster than ISDN.

with a bit of tweaking, i got my cs ping down to about 50. I download at around 40-60 kpbs.

i have eircoms 512 adsl. What vdsl are you using?

dustaz, how did u tweak it?
i got it trial off eircom there in febuary 'til september - theyre runnin vDSL in ennis only i think.
im not complainin about it, just was expectin more out of it...
