Was at gomez last night in the black box, really rocked despite no support act and they didn't play "get myself arrested" much to the crowd's displeasure.

Whipping picadilly and love is better than a warm trombne were the highlights for me, though I didn't know any of the new stuff which is mostly what they played, sounded good though. They made a right mess of rhythm and blues alibi though, it sounded terrible.

    YES, YES IT WAS

What a night..I dont even know where to start really.

Bit hung-over today so I'll leave it at a summary ;)

    1) Great song after great song played by a band that truly understand what preforming live on stage is all about. No Tiajuana Lady even though we brought banners :) to try to goad them into playing it. The entire gig was like a journey from start to finish.
    2) We legged it over to The Lobby, hoping that the band would be there after their own gig. They were. :D Sound fvckers.
    3) Pints were had with the lads, where we gave out accordingly to them that Tijuana Lady hadnt been played. The act (Joseph Arthur) in The Lobby that night was good enough to lend my mate his guitar so we sang (well more like roared really) Tiajuana for Gomez

    So what next?

    4) They are putting us on the guest list tonight in Dublin :D So we're gona be on the 2:30 train for another night of madness...

Incidentally, they did admit that their best performance so far in Ireland was last night so we got lucky it seems...

ah it was fvcking class in fairness. Sat for hours backstage last night drinking their beer and talkin ****e to the band, their road crew, and Melaton, the support act, all in all a sound bunch.......

My mate is gone up to Belfast, as we were both put (+1) on the guest list again. I wont however be going again tonight unfortunatly...
