I just bought a Supra Max Pro 56k And it connects great ,good ping (for 56k) But it disconnects a lot with all my ISPs . I assumed it was Eircom for my not paying my subscription bill for 6 months now . But IOL and UTV do it also . I had 3 winmodems and another old HCF Conexant and it never happened with them . I am using the Xp drivers from Sonic website.
And the download speed has halved it used to be 5kb now its 1.5 to 2kb
Anyone ever get anything like this before withb a new *better* modem ?
