I've been doing some cool sounds effects on the guitar recently.
My favourite one has to be the Horse.
Do a Pinch on a high note, and vibratowhammy the note down. Really need a floyd rose for this. But I can do it on my strat.
    NICE
And then we have tom morellos pickup selector thing. Which nemesis made me aware of. You can do Dj scratches on a guitar:)
works best on a gibson type guitar. Turn down one of the volume knobs and move your hands up and down the fret board to made finger noise (with dist.) and then keep changing the pickup switch so it goes from silent to full volume.

Yeah I turn the vol switch down and do some freaky chord and turn then know up and down after a few second so thats it's all muttery and blurry...it's quite scary

Turning down the volume, playing a chord, and then turing it back up immediatly makes a nice organ-type sound.

Wheh ! plug your wah in backwerds and ya get a weird screech jimi uses it on electric lady land for seagull effects on if a merman i should turn to or what ever its called.

Knock on a bit of distortion and pick slide about a 1 cm up and down while fiddelingh with your wah and you will get a kinda digerdoo effect..gets fairly trippy with a bit of delay

Turn down one pickup get a slide place it on the pickup thats still active flick the pickup switch between on and off (ones not actully off its just turned down) now push own and release while flicking you get a kinda ack ack kinda sound you can make your guitar lagh if you get good enuff at it e.g. is mic cheek by rage agaisnt the machine morello is king of bizarre noises (kobe tai is queen;) !

or there's the classic rock slide -
while dragging edge of pick down strings away from pickups - drag other hand down frets of same strings same direction.

You get that sound like NO FX in showerdays (I hate them)

Turn down the volume knob on your guitar and pick slide down your pickups and it sounds like a plane

On the start of Electric Ladland (Jimi hendrix for all who dont know ! *shock*)

the sound is actully guitars being kicked round the floor so if ya have money to burn and want weird sounds like that ya know what to do !

also point differect kinds of remote controls at your amp and press buttons for bizzare sounds..ya might have noticed if you were playing guitar and watching tv at the same time ala Jeff Beck.

Yeah I was doing that with my sky remote. You have to point it over the active pickup. You can wah the sound too!
