RJ45/DB9 connections

Anyone got the standard pinouts for a RJ45 and DB9 connectors??. I've found loads, but they all seem to be different. All I'm trying to do is take one take standard ethernet cable, take off RJ45 connector at one end, and attach DB9 connector instead. Its causing me major grief

I should know them but I dont

BUT
what i can tell you is that the only relevant pins in a standard network are 1,2,3,6 (RJ45) .. i dunno what that other thing is
