not wanting to repeat dev's post but heck during the last 30mins of AI I really wanted to leave, in fact some did but me being the tight git that I am (spending 4 quid to get in) I stayed to the end :D

Walked out of Jeepers Creepers after half an hour. I was in shock as to how it made it to the big screen. I'm usually well able to laugh at how bad some films are, but this was too pointlessly bad.

I thought AI was good, maybe even great, right up until the point when he went down into the water (trying not to spoil the end), after that things just got ridiculous and the end from there on felt horribly engineered, and for me, just didn't fit at all. Crying shame too, because I loved it up until then, especially the first half.

have to say the worst film ive ever seen was dungons and dragons!!! there was no dungons in it and one dragon at the begining and not another one till about 10 mins before the end!!!

i liked A.I. up to about the last 15 - 20 mins..... then it just started digging a grave for itself and kept on going.....

i cant believe that someone critised lord of the rings!!!! ....... wait for it............ one of the best films ever!!! ........... im waiting for the scores of disagreeing replys..!!.... i did love it tho!:) ;)

Next thing one of them pipes up "Jaysis, der both bleedin fags!"

Lol, it would have been even better if they'd stayed longer. Remember the gay naked snapshot scene between Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix? That always freaks them out.

    T'was a good film, indeed.

    Cider House Rules.

Gf was giving out for hours after I suggested going to see it.

Rented A.I. on DVD last week and turned it off after 30 minutes.

never walked out of these, cos i was with friends, but the most awful film ive sat through at the cinema:

    The Avengers
    Peaches
    Batman & Robin
    The Hole
    Circle Of Friends

    Lord Of The Rings
    AI
    The Truman Show
    Dantes Peak
    Never Been Kissed
    Pearl Harbor

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,518 ✭✭✭Kalina

Have to agree with Smak, The Hole was flippin crap!!

And did anyone ever see the movie "Say it isn't So"?? That was the worst drivel I have ever seen in my entire life.

By the way, Jeepers Creepers 2: Bat Out of Hell (original Title!!!) is made and ready for American release apparently. If it's anything like the 1st one (which was terrible) I'd recommend you stay far far away!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,894 ✭✭✭Mr. Fancypants

Never walked out of any movie, probably because im too stubborn too but the closest i have been was with Alien Resurrection. Was a major dissapointment for me. Oh, there was some really, really awful Irish movie called The Eliminator or something. I remember it was getting a lot of press at the time. Had the largest walk out percentage of any movie i had been. Only about 5% of audience left by the end.

    AI

why did i go and see that, should have known i wouldnt like since it comes from two of the most over rated directors, Speilberg and Krubric.

Fight Club, Have to say that, just the most chickests flick i have ever seen, I am so depressed i think I will start a fight club boo who, While it was well directed and acted it just was c r a p.

Are you all talking about Ali G or Ali with Will Smith (havent seen either)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭Pigman

Spielbergs Amistad and the other one was Last Tango in Paris. Two giant slices of pretentious crap which should never be watched by anyone for the rest of eternity!

    Tomb Raider.

Woeful film. And coming from a seventeen year old that's really something.

Charlies Angels did everything better. And it had more T&a.

Mission Impossible. I came this close to storming back to the ticket office and asking for my money back. Jaysus, that was a load of sh*te. I felt like walking out of Moulin Rouge as well but it had wrecked my head so much I stayed.

    Deary me,
I thought it was outstanding- even though I dont really like Russell.

I nodded off at the "X-Men" movie, but I think I was just tired!

Came very close to walking out of Queen of the Damned just a few minutes ago. By christ, that film dragged on. Only thing that stopped me was the amount of people in my way (and the nice girl beside me, natch).

    Oh dear god
Think you've missed the whole idea of that film, oh well... give it a chance, watch it a few times :)
And I'm surprised at Castor walking out of Pearl Harbour... it wasn't THAT bad... jeez.

The only film I'd considered walking out on was The Green Mile, gah those execution scenes just ruined the underlying 'feel good' vibes of the movie (man).
I have to agree that AI was a 100% walk-out-able movie... I mean the start was ok, but once the search for the blue fairey started I just lost interest in the plot entirely... I might have walked out, but I was watching it on DVD, so walking out would be a bit pointless when you can just press 'stop'.:o

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 316 ✭✭IRISHLILY24

The only movie I've ever walked out on was last summer's crocodile dundee movie, you know the one he made in an attempt to return to the film scene....ughh he should stick to the commercials. I have rented bad movies that I didnt finish, like that new 3 musketeers movie, was hyped up to be better than it was...also didnt finish that movie mystery men...but then anything stiller is in sucks, in my opinion.

Ya, i refuse to watch that. I figure two things will happen:

1> It'll have a cute baby unicorn called 'Uni'
2> It'll be exactly like Jumanjii except not original

I left The Blair Which Project (saw the sequel later - was OK) because of the motion sickness thing. I wasn't sorry - just switched screens to see American Pie a 2nd time.

I haven't left anything else but I've slept through most of Anel Eyes (well acted but sloooowww.. no plot!), Notting Hill and Deep Impact(In French :)).

I'm suprised some people are so bored by the silly comedy genre; Zoolander, Austin Powers, Deuce Bigolo and Ali G havec all go numerous mentions. None of them were particularly good but there were enough very good gags here and there to carry it.

    **** OFF!!!

Easily one the absolute *BEST* of the more recent Bond films.
Great plot, great acting, and easily overshadows anything that Peirce Brosnan has done since.

And, not to mention Sean "Boromir" Bean.
Pretty much always a great actor, but in the, simple one of the BEST bond villans there was!
"For England James" or "God save the Queen" were some classic lines... Not to mention the "I'll give you the same 10 minutes you gave me."

    Brilliant film.
Easily one of the best Bond films. (Despite Bronsan's track record.)

Get out of it was rubbish
The bit at the start where the plane goes off the cliff and bond follows it on the bike and "amazingly" in mid air is able to climb into the plane and than stop it from crashing is total ****e

come to think of it all bond films are pretty ****

I have never walked out but slept most of the way through JFK.
These days I would tend to read a good few reviews before heading to the cinema. Too many "trailer" movies about.
