Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

insurance on KTV

    Has anyone else noticed that the channels with the most insurance adverts and bank adverts are Cartoon Network and Fox kids?


    Childrens channels...and yet we have...all those really annoying banking ads..Whats the point? I mean kids would be watching this and they dont anything of whats going on..who's smart idea was this? We have car/house insurances mortgages etc. I just dont see the logic of showing this on a channel which is simply not gonna attract that many customers???

    Ah, now, you might say that...


    Probably something to do with the large number of parents who insist in watching TV with their children to make sure it's suitable.

    Either that or there's some slightly anti-EU rules/illegal cross-channel deal going on whereby you can only advertise your angina medicine on CNN if you also advertise it on the Cartoon network (frankly wouldn't surprise me a whole lot)

    Thats just stupid ye know....I mean its like growing kids up to be ruthless buisness men and plubicity and marketting devils...AHHH this is why we get terrible ads!!!!

    maybe its for all those people that watch the magic roundabout a 4. am or for all those big kids out there who still watch cartoons after work.

    Or maybe its cheap to bye time on kids channels
