Somebody say Presence?! Awww cheers kurdt! Unfortunately it would be unfair for a defunct band to hold up a spot that could be given to an up and coming act (and for that reason I would like to voice my opinion that the balance of artists under the class new, upcoming, unknown and kickin is a bit lob sided, my nominees for the cd in this category are
    Otranome
    Skyjack
    Murder of Crows
    Ginseng
    Polar
and Keith Mullins (of whom you'll all know about as soon as we sort him out with a few gigs in Dublin, amazing performer!)

This CD would be a great idea, perhaps even to sell a small pressing on a trial basis at Phantom and unsigned events to start with, and if it proevd successful enough then make it bigger.

I suppose my two cents would be (judging from what I have heard in the past couple of months):
    The Walls
    Quincey
    Wallmark
    Damien Rice
Murder of Crows (on complete hearsay!)
    The Frames of course
    The Corpo
    Brando
    Johny Pyro
    Polar
    Eh, think that is it?
    Great idea though.

    Hello all,

This is something that we in Phantom towers have been thinking about for quite some time at this stage! Could really be a good runner too. We have a couple of musical irons in the fire at the moment in terms of potential plans, but I will chat to some people and get back to ye all on it as soon as I can.

In the meantime, please do keep suggesting. And someone keep track of the votes! Counting was never my strong point.

    Regards,

    Pete Reed

They've been away for a while but I hear there back now and are most defiantly up and coming and Irish so
    "Sundogs"
get a vote from me. There's a lot of good bands being mentioned here which is cool seeing a lot of the time people are complaining about Irish bands. Keep it up people.
