Just popped into HMV (Grafton St.) a few minutes ago. Generally speaking, a 'clear-out sale' in HMV means big red stickers with the same extorsionist prices on them, but not this time. Picked up the following:

Aphex Twin: Come To Daddy - €9.99
Aphex Twin: Selected Ambient Works Volume II - €16.99
    Nas: Illmatic - €6.99
    Jurassic 5: J5 - €9.99

Some other good deals going on down in the depths aswell. Classic Chillout albums, St. Germain, 2Pac and the likes. Just thought I'd let you's know :)

Nice one. The words "Clearout Sale" ususally invoke horrible images of old B*witched and Lionel Richie CDs...

Virgin are doing a pretty sweet deal atm as well, 3 CDs for €30 - picked up 6 CDs I've been meaning to buy for years.

Problem is that Virgin have a **** selection of cd's. They don't have any metal cd's at all.

Virgin sometimes have good CDs. In a previous offer, I picked up a Megadeth, an AC/DC, a Thin Lizzy, and a couple of Led Zeppelin CDs for around £30.

yeah, that would have probably been in their metal section.
the one where they dont keep any metal cds at all.

regardless, i'm sure PornapsteR owns all the PanterA cds by now or at least taped them off a friend.

Virgin on Aston Quay is fairly ok for Metal CD's, the other branches are total sh-te tho!

Virgin is ****. You cant argue with that, they hardly ever have anything you want and when they do it's too expensive.
