theres been heaps of new gethering cards done. some of them are just going to waste away in some god awful thread somewhere. some of them, imo, are good eneough to be added to the gathering page (dbc's atari one spings to mind

)

I have 3 or 4 of them done, but the server they're on is down at the moment (well, actually its not, but the backups that were made before an OS switch were a bit fupped).

I'll put them up when I get back to my own machine in carlow.

I took the time to write a couple of card suggestions (About five or six) plonked them onto disk and brought them to the cafe, but alas, when it comes to me and my luck I end up on my ass... For some Unexplainable reason this stupid cafe PC cannot read the file / doesn't show up, so I'll hopefully have them up and posted by tommorow...

Ok I've taken the time to make my own ones...

They don't look anything like the normals ones, seeing as Photoshop is very new to me, but feel free to re-create or edit at will, that is if they're in any way near normal standards, which I doubt they are - me being of limited online humour and all...

Yay, at last I've gotten my card... Pity it's ****e, but hey

(I find this one to be half decent)

And thats it for now... I know the text is the wrong size and all that, but if I select a "Layer" in PS it doesn't do much, and I end up having to place the images / text in manually (And they are in the size mentioned in the .rtf but they appear smaller...)

Anyway, what do you think!? / Got any tips for me in regards to my sad attempt at making a good gathering card!?

Sarcasm or not, I thank you smak... But the facts remains - The text isn't the right size, the pictures don't suit, descriptions are too long, Quotes aren't right etc...

I'll be needed some help in regards to card making, so that i may make the "Overclocker" card and "Kharns bad Hair Day" + A few other I wrote up...

Any ideas!?

you said you were using PS(photoshop??) then get yourself the trial demo version of paint shop pro7 from www.jasc.com (thats what hobbes used to make the origionals and what the template is designed for.

I used Photoshop6 which i found lurking around my HD by chance...

If I can just fix the text, they should be OK - unless someone else wants to do that!?

I saved the majority of them as jpeg's also, so they are now un-editable (Thanks to my .psp deleting skills)

Anyhow, I'll create some more when I get home for the sole benefit of the amazing "Gathering Cards" - Hobbes, your a diamond.
