    check out
    http://www.flashpoint1985.com/temp/main_res.html
its here!! or at least its nearly here, if you dont already have the 1.46 upgrade, dont bother getting it coz this add-on will have it.
the upgrade adds new vehicles and weapons (duh) and also updates the pointy ikkle graphic glitches in the game, it almost looks as good as Ghost Recon.
the ressistance missions will have a great storyline, and by the looks of things the actual characters will also have a rich backround and scary war-torn past (where have we heard that before!) if you want to go to the main page its at http://www.flashpoint1985.com
watch out for the links at the left hand side, there kinda hard to spot.

    enjoy:D

That machine is fine. Are you using DirectX Hardware TnL or just DirectX HW? Reduce the settings a bit. the game is very tweakable, just muck about and if you feck up just hit 'Auto detect' to spring back to something decent.

there are a tonne of other sites.
I'll put together a pack of missions and addons and .ace them tightly into manageable (for ISDN+) downlaods sometime, or IrishWAN in the next month or so :)

is there any shop selling the expansion pack red hammer.....the only place i seen it was smyths but it was bundled with original?

There's a sh|tload of extra processing going on in the background (realtime sound modeling, AI, physics - not just the graphics). There are some missions where you really do need a 1Ghz processor.
Tis one of the best games for a LAN though, so long as people are given a bit of time to get warmed up to it.
You can download it and pay for a serial for it if you want. Ask Smyth's to order it in for you.

Some talented individuals have modified the Islands you get with the game creating Desert Islands for Gulf Wars, Artic Kogulevs and even a Vietnamesque Everon. Without actually knowing how they do it they seem to alter the terrains "skin", along with buildings and sounds (i.e forests in Jungle Everon now come with jungle wildlife noise). Can get them where you get missons and mods - cant remeber the exact site address, follow the links i suppose from a flashpoint site.
