Is there any way I can telnet into a server (redbrick) via a web proxy.

The only open port is 80 and http tunnel doesnt seem to want to work for me for some reason.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure it's aproxy ?
Like if http tunnel isn't working, there is a possibility that it's not a proxy, but a hole in the firewall on port 80.

Its just odd, http tunnel tests ok but says it cant retrive an IP address.

ummmm HTTP-Proxy is usually only port 80...ssh (i think is port 23)the proxy might not support connection to other ports

I don't actually have a clue, but have you tried just using RB's ip?
