Pentium 4 improvements

    For anyone with a Pentium 4:

    apparently there is a BIOS option that by default is enabled (Compatibile FPU OPCODE).

    The option is there for backwards compatibility with old MS-DOS mode.

    Disabling this should lead to up to a 17% FPU increase.

    hehe, dunno how many people have pentium 4's yet, but if you do, could you post and let us know what you think...

    There's some a few nice optimizations for the p4 now, for example the new nvidia 12.10 drivers, which you can read about on www.tomshardware.com
