Since the release (well leaked cuz of a security flaw) of WinXP beta 2469 well over 72hours ago there has been 0 cracks released for it.
Respect microsoft cuz you have finally beaten the cracking community.

Is this the end of piracy for a while?
[imagine if all magor software houses used the same product activation procedure?]

There is no way to defeat crackers.
Microsoft have not defeated anyone but theirselves but releasing substandard software.

It is possible to download builds of XP.Professional.Beta2.Build.2462.GERMAN-MMP
and It is only a matter of time before the latest builds become available.I'm a bit out of date with the underground scene so it may be available as we speak.

Maybe hackers are beta testers for this new technology in a "secret way"

Because microsoft are hardly going to release this build of product activition into the final if they know it has been cracked, so with every new build if the previous build hasnt been cracked, microsoft will just up the tempo to make the uncracked build the more secure final

Just pointing out the obvious, but i reckon ms will have it perfected by the final.

Plus your going to have two kinds of people. Those that find the hacks and post them, which means MS will more then likely fix it before release.

And the others who will sit on the hack until the product ships because they can hack the planet. smile.gif

This is great news. How many of you out there actually paid for your copy of win2k?

Not many, I'll wager. Watch the linux userbase rocket when Microsoft eliminate piracy altogether :P
