USB to Serial

Looking to connect a USB port on an imac to the serial port on a palm, Is there different types of USB? Maplin have a USB to Serial connector for £30stg, anyone no anywhere else I can get one?

There's USB 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0. Far as I know there aren't any USB 2.0 devices yet and the difference between 1.0 and 1.1 is minimal.

For alternative sources, why not try Jungle (cost might be too high for a low-cost item), http://onlineit.com (note no w or just the local Compustore (just for comparison - when's the last time you bought something at Compustore that you couldn't get cheaper elsewhere?)? Maplin's prices are usually fairly OK though.
