I'm sure Howard would have preferred if you "spam-guarded" his email address.

more info on this is available at: http://www.boards.ie/bulletin/Forum3/HTML/002052.html

or, as mentioned, via ie.comp on Usenet.

Forgive my ignorance on this, but can spammers pick up an email adress when it's it plain text on a board like this?

Each thread is just a html page, therefore searchable and pretty easy for email addresses to be plucked out.
If its the result of a cgi script than its much less likely.. say the profile option on the boards or equivalent..

I am DEFINITELY going to be there ! And I think everyone else should be there too. It's all about NUMBERS, and they need as many bodies as possible.

    Yes, of course they can.

REMINDER: THIS HAPPENS TOMORROW AT 2pm. DO TRY TO BE THERE IF YOU CAN.

Like I said- minutes have been posted in the ie.comp newsgroup and on the Irish Internet Users mailing list. There will be a web site soon, and I'll let you know when that comes about.

Never go off on tangents, which are lines that intersect a curve at only one point and were discovered by Euclid, who lived in the 6th century, which was an era dominated by the Goths, who lived in what we now know as Poland.
