The register has this today ..... http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/24967.html

Virgin.net has bucked the trend of recent price rises by announcing that it is to cut the cost of its unmetered Net access service.

From today users can sign up to Virgin.net's 24seven unmetered service for £13.49 (sterling) a month - down from £15 (sterling) a month.

Its interesting to see how they feel about AOL, BTOpenWorld and Freeserver increasing their prices:

In a statement Peter Tuomey, Virgin.net's S & M director, said: "I'm surprised by the recent announcements on price increases. We are dropping our price by simply passing on cost savings that we have worked hard to deliver over the past few months."

Well as so many UK operators had been putting prices up its good to see Virgin reduce them. We don't exactly wan't to see them rising when we continually point to them!;)
