Amazon.co.uk have one for 199 sterling. Mixed reviews on it, though. It plays video cd's along with MP3s and CR-R/RW. I assume the MP3's are burned onto CD-R to be played by the player.

tesco's was doing one for a while...i got it and it's pretty nice.

anyway, i might post it for sale as i just got chorus digital and theres enough movies on there to keep me going for a while...200 squid incl delivery if you want it...brand new...used once.

Celtic Tiger make sure that Tesco Player is a Wharfdale 750s and not a 750. The 750 had serious problems with certain disks.

Also those players were selling new in Tesco for £199 recently.

I think my local tesco(Sandyford) has one or 2 still. I'd also look out for the newer version the M5.

I'll let you know if they still have them.
