Is Quark better than Radient? Which has more support for different games?

I work nights and have a lot of internet time in work (11hrs excluding breaks) :)
    Found this little lot.
I have used the tutorials here to make my 1st map Terrian and textures going for the buildings next.
    http://www.claudec.com/lair_of_shaders/tutorials.shtml

And from the http://www.qeradiant.com/ site the links i found were intersting but you would need time to find exactly what you needed
I have that time so if you need any specific info i can dig it up for you.
i am using this Mohaa BTW.

Yes Quark apparantly works with both HL and Quake etc...
Radient is solely Quake and any other Quake based games or games with the Quake Engines whilst all the rest I have no idea... Im a WC head...

If I had my net conn at home i could offer up many tastey links for you blasphemers, but alas...

QuArK Supports all quake based games (hence the name Quake Army Knife)

    Quake 1:
    • Half-life (beleive it or not this is actually based around quake 1 code not quake 2 )
    • Hexen 2

    Quake 2:
    • Heretic 2
    • Sin
    • Kingpin
    • Soldier of Fortune

    Quake 3:
    • Star Trek Voyager Elite Force
    • Return To Castle Wolfenstein
    • Medal of Honour Allied Assault

It also supports GDX and Crystal Space and can edit models, skins and quake c and can also view bsp files.

    Damn...

Used to know a site with a *massive* collection of Q3 tutorials... since then I haven't mapped much for Q3 so I forget the URL...

I'll dig through the bookmarks later and see if I can find it :)
