Wow! Is this release date accurate?
Should I get it for the PC or the PS2.. (are they any different?)

    Hmm.. Choices, choices..

Probably better on the PC, most games are.. more options.. easier to crack and cheat and get easter eggs and stuff plus you can usually get mods and extra levels etc..

I have it on the PS2 and its good but once you beat it thats it!! Game over

    How much is it?
Any idea on the min specs?
Wuold be interested in getting it, if only to show my arrogant neighbour that my 2-yer old PC (a bit upgraded) can whip the arse off his PS2.

I would test that theory first!!

I doubt your pc can play it then.

    Recommended System Requirements:

    700 mhz CPU
    128MB RAM
    32MB Direct3D Video Card
    Fully DirectX Compatible Sound Card
    8x CD-ROM
    500MB Free Hard Drive Space
    Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
    DirectX 8.1

    Minimum System Requirements:

    Pentium III 450 CPU
    64MB RAM
    16MB Direct3D Video Card
    Fully DirectX Compatible Sound Card
    8x CD-ROM
    500MB Free Hard Drive Space
    Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
    DirectX 8.1

So if you want to get ps2 like graphics your probably looking at 1ghz+ and 64mb graphics card.

    I meant game-lastability wise.
Would be nice to ahve a nicer controller too, specially for first-person.

They'd want to have a nice Multi-player mode. Planning on bringing that biatch to LANs :)

I seriuosly can wait till it comes out. Its good that it not out till May or i wouldn't get anything down at all! It cheap enough too, £18.99 isn't bad. thats like €30 so thats still cheap enough. Does anyone know is this site reliable? like has anybody used it before?

I've (like many other visitors to boards.ie) have used play.com on many occasions (maybe 20+) and have never had a problem with them...

You'll find your question asked (and answered) on many of the other boards (e.g. TV/Video, Audio visual etc..)

    I have used Play.com 118 times.
And i swear by them they are the cheapest around simply because of the Free Delivery
Order on a sunday night you will have it by Friday
They are in the Isle of Man.

NO multiplayer at all lads :(

    Sucks tbh...

no multiplayer at all but it does have 2 nice control methods.

1 is the same as the ps2 should work well enough with my gravis elimnator joy pad. and.....
2 mouse and keyboard combo which would probabally be better but this remains to be seen.

I has higher resilutuons that then the ps2, better replay 30 sec long now and they can be saved to the hard disk.

all in all it will be better than the ps2 version but not much better its still the same game.

If Play.com is on the isle of man does that mean they are Vat exempt?

    LOL!
Only the LC....sure you dont need that to work in SuperMacs!

Bout time GtA 3 made it's apperance. I've been waiting for months since I first heard about it was coming out.
Course it went to the PS2 first....

*hmmm*....wonder if my PC can handle it...

    P4
    256Ram
    Plenty o H/D space
    64 MB G2
piss poor onboard sound.....hope to get the Audigy soon tho!

It's bound to look much better than the PS2 version same game or not given the PC specs.

118 times, and you've never noticed that they're based in Jersey, not the Isle of Man?
