    Take on me is a great song with a classic video. It hasn't aged as much as some of the stuff from the 80s (which leads me to propose that it be excluded from the "cheesy songs" thread on the grounds that it's not)

    Embarrassing memory- I was in Belfast City hospital when "The One and Only" was Number 1. I HATED it, but my Mum (God bless her!) phoned up the hospital radio station, and was actually with me when the request was played!!! I WAS NOT TOO PLEASED!!!!

    You see I don't see what's cheesy about Sophie Ellis Bextor or "Milkshake" (unless the milkshake has been left for a hundred years or something and has turned into...joke not worth finishing....).
