    Boomcha,
anyone recommend any good guitar tutor books?
i have been playing for roughly a year now and my brother who is an accomplished guitarist has been showing me what i need to know, but as he is moving away pretty soon i need a new tutor or prehaps book cos i dont really have much time to go to lessons, mainly because i am a lazy git.

i aint the worst player about(intermediate) but when people are watching me play,i start making a load of mistakes and start to look pretty crap.
what books did you use? were they any good?

Nothing beats a decent teacher, there's a promising looking ad floating around this page maybe you should check it out.

I think guitar mags are a cool way to increase the abilities.
