Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Futurama axed.... mebbe for the best

    I heard futurama was gonna be axed after the third series before they started showing it here. This pissed me off quite a bit as I really enjoyed teh first two series, but having watched the first 5 eps of series 3 its way below par. Only one or 2 really funny gags per episode althogh i'll admit zapp branagan was as good as ever in the episode he was in. what do ye all think of series 3 so far?

    No I think series 3 is good, theres 15 episodes in it and their all pretty good. Also I don't know about them axing it after series 3 because I've watched upto series 4 episode 8 'Godfellas'.

    Series 4 isn't great I have to say. I think they are axing it after this current series 4.

    I read in a magazine (Empire I think) that they hadn't axed the series as such, aparently they have enough material done for 2-3 more series so they have let go a lot of writers etc...

    Pity that, its a funny cartoon.
    Its always being compared to the Simpsons though, and you cant do that because Simpsons are the best.

    It was quite good but I think a lifespan of 3 or 4 series isn't bad.

    Personally I simply love Family Guy - its a very close 2nd to Simpsons. Malcom in the Middle has a very Simpsons feel to it too even if its not animation - Malcoms father cracks me up - fantastic acting.

    It will be a pity if they axe this show as its alot better than the current series of The Simpsons,which mostly seem to start off well but they fizzle out big time at the end.

    Family Guy has a few moments of genius but lacks a certain quality.

    I wish they would axe the simpsons as it's been terrible for the past three years at least. Better to kill off a show in its prime and leave fans hungry for more than to leave a show going for 13+ years and have no ground left to cover.
