    Hi Gav,

No, afraid you can't get HSCSD on Digifone (O2), only Eicell (Vodafone) rolled-out a HSCSD network here.

Digifone (O2) did roll-out 14.4kb/s (DigiData) on a regular Circuit Switched Data call last year (on a phone or device that can handle it).

When Eircell rolled out HSCSD in 2000, Digifone called it a technical cul de sac.

Today, my Voafone HSD gives me 43k speeds during much of my Irish Rail journeys from Kilkenny. I rarely get above 30k equivalent speed with O2 GPRS.

I pay around 10 cents a minute with HSD. I'm getting more data at less cost with O2.

    Your mileage may vary.
