F**IN TABLES!!!

I wonder if anyone can help me out...

I'm making a table - 3 X 3 and I wanna out an image in each of the 8 surrounding frames and content in the middle.
That's all well and groovy, but I'm getting a small gap between the cells and it's REALLY ****ing me off. I have cellspacing set to 0 as is cellpadding and border=0 aswell.
I also get the same thing at the bottom of the table - a thin line under the "border" pic. I've also checked the heigth and width values of the pix and cells - still no joy.

Soooooo....
Who can help / suggest???

This really shouldn't be happening if the cellpadding=0 and cellspacing=0, however here's one or two suggestions...

First, try setting the td width=blah height=blah to be the same size as the images contained inside. Second, make sure the is just like that with no spaces in between. Third, post up the URL for us to have a look see!

Try taking out the linebreaks between td and img and all should be well (I tried it and it works). The linebreak is treated as a space.
