    Did anybody hear the 2fm news at 7.00 pm last night? It was really strange, one minute the newsreader was talking about the election, the next he was reading an item on the Pixies. Apparently they are about to release a compilation of unreleased songs/demos etc that didn't make Surfer Rosa. The newsreader read it dead pan and I was looking at the radio thinking what is that all about!!. Maybe he just snuck it in trying to impress Dave Fanning or something...

    This is not the complete B sides cd though. That came out late last year I think and even 2FM aren't that far behind.
    Its a selection of songs recorded for Come on Pilgram but which were left off when they decided to release it as a mini LP instead. Something like that anyway.

    I bought Surfer Rosa and Come on Pilgrams today, but strangley enough they were both on 1 C.D.
    Is it supposed to be that way, if so then it is pretty good value for €14.99 in HMV Cork
