x-box and other country games??

    can the x-box play amercian games???
    cause if it can i think ill pick one up...

    Region lockouts are optional and are installed by the publisher so yes it is quite possible that an American game would run on a Euro Xbox but i have not tested any games..mabye Shinji knows?

    All the games are shipping with region lockouts. You'll only be able to play PAL games on your Xbox.

    Presumably the lockout is on the software side because of all the moans from places like Australia saying that region lockouts are illegal etc - its easier to change the software than the hardware.
