    Nice jobby adding the new links on the home page... they're handy...

    but could we have a link saying "ALL MY POSTS"?

    I have it as one of my quick link buttons in Opera 'cos its handy to be able to go back through a list of posts I've made and see if there's any reply to particular ones.

    The URL for my one, for example, is http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/search.php?s=&action=finduser&userid=1172

    Surely this would be easy to script, replacing the 1172 at the end with the users own UserID.

    Why not just set up e-mail notification for replys to threads you have contributed to ??

    Makes life easier for checking stuff quickly during the day :)

    Why not?

    For the same reason that we went from having a mailing list to having a mod forum: Email sucks.

    - and it may be one of those little things that helps increase boards.ie's page impression count... who knows? :)

    I just suggested it because I'd find it useful.

    We stopped the mod list because it would have been difficult for discussion-

    Is this not simply about notifcation of new posts??
    If so then e-mail does grand, Heh !!?? :)

    A moan that has been leveled at Teagasc by some rural communties that they oppose the building of houses in rural townlands...

    I for instance didn't think it was a good idea putting a users posts link on the front page- hence I was objecting, like teagasc.
