the wheel of time is a great series, but alot of people get pissed off by the waiting.. the 10th volume is coming out soona nd there really is no end in sight... plus it takes him a year or so per book, so you will prob be watiging 4 or 5 yaers to finish the series :)

one of my fav scifi fantasy authors is Tad williams.. his "otherland" series, is a GREAT mix of sci fi and fantasy ... and his "memory, sorrow, and thorn" series is just pure fantasy, both great though. but they do take a bit of reading to get into .. but stick with them, cos they are well worth it.
there are 4 books in the otherland series and 3 in the MST, you will really regret finishing them, they are so good.

James Oliver Rigney Jr, AKA Robert Jordan has resently said that the series will run to 13 books, and no more.

I have only made it to the Sixth book and I am a bit "six of one and half a dozen of the other" on the getting bord/ needing more front.

However, I will certainly read on until the end, well at least at this stage I feel like that.

At last the end is nigh..
I suppose i should go back and read the last one in preperation for the next one, with the long wait and all, I often forget what happened in the last one.

I generally find that the main problem is that nothing happened in the last one.

Four more books to go then. I started reading the Wheel of Time when I was a child I'll probably be pushing 30 by the time he finishes it. Surreal.
