"No buffer space available"

    I get this message (No buffer space available/cant create data socket) whenever I try to connect to a certain ftp server. I've tried about three different clients and each seems to give the same error.

    Funnily enough it does work when I telnet to the server and ftp from in there.

    hmm still happening. Must be a disk space or memory problem on the server frown.gif

    Not the most helpful reply Hecate, but I have a strong feeling that there was a similar thread to this about a month ago and that someone (Hobbes?) had an explaination.

    It could be worth having a quick look back over the last month and a half's posts to see if you can spot it.

    Allo,

    Are you using Photoshop at the time per chance?

    Happens me when I run Photoshop with allocated memory anywhere over about 45%.

    nah it happens no matter what pc or ip I log on from frown.gif
