Fomating text on Outlook Express

When you are replying to an email on Outlook Express – Sometimes the format bar does not come up. Do you have to highlight Rich text (HTML) every time you want to reply to an email & format the contents.

It depends what format the mail you are replying to was written in. OE replies in the format the email was written in.

Not sure about the others but in OE v6 there is an option in Tools >>Options and on the send tab the option "Reply to messages in the format they were sent". Uncheck this and it will always use whichever option you have sected to reply in. HTML i'm guessing;)
