Sending messages between machines ?

    I remember there being a program for sending short messages between machines on a network running win 9x. It was installed with the networknig stuff.

    Win something it was called.. anyone remember it ?

    hmmm try typing net send <PCNAME> "<Message>" at the command prompt

    As far as I know net send is only a windows NT command, in Win9x try start>run>winpopup, run this on both machines and send away

    Yup net send in NT only. Winpopup was the one i was trying to remember. cheers slan
