Has anyone got a copy of the Windows 2000 SP2 Network Installation files?
I don't want to spend several hours downloading them, I'd rather if someone could send me them on CDR and i'd send them one back in return?
I think i'm due to be kicked off SNL on the next billing date (16th i think?) so i can't get it myself.
Looking specifically at anybody with (*snicker*) Broadband?.

    Please, and thanks in advance.
-Back to the cramming i go...

Well I'm running Advanced Server Edition, so I need the FULL SP2, dunno how big it is, the 'network' version, with the Patches for all 4 versions of Win2000.
But yeah, I'd be very much on the side of grateful! smile.gif

Full win2k spk2 clocks in at just over hundred megs - 101 iirc.

That would, of course, be illegal piracy of Microsoft software. You should really take it to email rather than carrying out such a transaction on a discussion on Boards.ie

Does that actually give you 4Mb?? I heard you get a crap ping off it though.

I wonder would it work well if you had a leased line as the upstream connection and the satellite as the downstream...

Satellite connections are only for downloaders, thats the bottom line!.
im not going into detail about it here, so if you want info, email me.
