Stephen Hendry & The Fart Machine

The official site of the world snooker championship has a report about Hendry being put off a 147 break during his match against O'Sullivan and Hendry is quoted as saying:
"Two or three times a mobile telephone did ring ring out and three or four times a fart machine went off as well but there were no more interruptions after the interval of that nature."

But what on earth is a "fart machine" and how can it accidentally go off? Anyone enlightened enough to know???

I'd agree with greenhell on that one but failing that there are little keyrings you can get that make farting noises when you press different buttons on them .... fart machines.

Perhaps "farting" is a phenomena similar to comedians getting heckled ... and I for one welcome more of it!

a couple of guys with very short hair would jump you outside...!
