    okies,

    the size thing...

if you right click anywhere on the winamp window and get a drop down list, selct options, and 'Easy Move' - this lets you move it by holding down the left mouse button anywhere on the window.

You can also right click on the bottoom of the playlist - select options and 'Double Size' if you cant see ANY of the control bit.
You should see some of it then and if necessary use the easy move option to get it back fully on the screen.

As for your speaker set...if its a 4 sattelite and sub set and you are using an sb live set for Live surround sound then it wont work. You have to set it to the 4 speaker setting to get the back speakers to work properly.

    Hope this helped a bit.

What soundcard and speakers have you got?

    Might work for the speakers:

Control Panel -> Sound -> Audio -> Sound Playback -> Advanced

Choose which speaker configuration and see if that works.

hmmms, did you use the sblive software to change your speaker setup from surround to four point? (as opposed to the windows one mentioned above)

Im not at home now and forget exactly how to do it, but you open it from the bar at the top. Its the same place where you do the speaker test (front left, front right, back lkeft, back right). You can change it down the bottom of that window.

Ill post exactly where to get to it when i get home...assuming of course you havent tried it yet.

Ok, on the bar up the top, select the Sound Blaster Live tab, and under that select the surround mixer.

Fiddle about with the speaker selection down the bottom while playing some mp3's and see what happens.

Hmm...well you started this as a Winamp specific problem, but from the last statement it would seem the rears aren't working in anything?
    Which is it?
