    i've just bought a scanner for the first time
    i installed the software fully
    i then connected the scanner up(the power was on)BY USB
    the pc says*scanner not found*
    i am totally lost,does anybody know where i am going wrong cos i don't!!
    i have XP
    should i just reinstall again from scratch?

    i have a V92 voice/telephony/modem
    does that make a difference?

    Right when dose the computer say "Scanner not found"? Is it when you pluged it in or did you go through the camera and scanner wizard?

    If it was when you plugged it in then it means that XP dosen't have the drivers. If you installed them then you proably need newer ones from the net.

    If it was through the camera and scanner wizard then I don't know what it could be. Try it on another computer win 98 and see if it works. It could be a genuine fault with the scanner.
