    We win hands down, the English one is cack.
    The only vaguely interesting thing on it is the programme where they get a band in to choose their facourite tunes, and even then you're at the mercy of the choice of band.

    Em, no, it was organic bitter this time - my taste in alcohol has matured a little bit since 1993.

    (I got a present of a 'hamper' of strawberry and grapefruit alcopops - to match my hair, you understand - one Christmas, drank them in the studio and swore a lot)

    yes...joss and dud are major connoisseurs of those trendy hoppy beers too. They were drinking this terrible appley foul smelling cra.p on Monday night last.....Mark has me sampling some German gear with Monks on the bottle.

    yes you're right ....but we're non commercial so the incentive to recruit and monitor new Djs is hard especially with a 12hr day job :(

    Whay am I not surpised that Mark drinks 100% Aryan beer? beer brewed by German monks is always great (and always vegetarian too which helps)

    didn't the english xfm get taken off the air for a while? I remember something huge happeneding to it like that, and poeple were very mad about it? i always heard that it was excellent, and the only alternative station they had (years ago) and so there was uproar when they tried to get rid of it. did they succeed and did it come back crap, or was it just always crap?

    It was bought over by Capital, as far as I know, and made more commercial. You can now hear the likes of that Zane guy from MTV playing nu metal and Zoe Ball on it.
