Starship Troopers problem

I have the Starship Troopers game, and I'm having a problem with the menu.

    It's non-existent.

Well, that's no strictly true. It's THERE, but it's not being drawn (I can click on buttons, etc.)

It's running as a D3D object, and I *think* it's not being drawn, but I'd like to know how to fix it. Setup:

    Win2K Pro SP1
GeForce 2MX (12.60 drivers - same problem with 12.40 drivers)
    DirectX 8.0
    1GHz Athlon @ 1.33 on KT7A-RAID w/256Mb RAM

I had the same problem with MotorHead on a GTS (for the HUD's at least). It was purely game engine related and fixed by the latest patch. So I'd go with the suggestion above.

Downloaded, I'll try it when I get home.

No luck. Still the same thing.

After random clicking I managed to get to a training mission, but the mouse pointer was non-existent.

    Anymore ideas?

What? Install ANOTHER OS? I've already got two! smile.gif

Surely there must be some way of getting it to work in Win2K.
