    Interesting read.

Does the Netscape 3.x figure include Netscape 4 and 6?

I was also interested in the large number of people on Win98.

Can I ask what the nature of the domain is ??
Is it a personal website or a corporate one ??

Well, it depends on the domain, the more geekier the content, the more likely the number of opera users you're going to get. Don't assume because you think that opera is one of the best browsers out there (it probably is), that jo home user will have even heard of it, let alone use it.

As for the large win98 num hits, 98 was the only realistic windows option for your standard oem person for about two years.. 95 was made obsolete pretty darn quickly. 2000 and ME had a bit of a fight to make it into the home, and now they'll be pushed to the wayside with xp on the home market.

    *shrugs*

Ah OK. Colleges (excluding IT courses) will more than likely be using Windows, and therefore using the bundled browser (MSIE).

That explains the high IE count.....
